Daisy Christening (6-12-09)

My little sister Daisy was christened in Hambledon yesterday. The skies cleared for the day and the rain kept away! Everyone was there including all Daisy's God-parents... Gilly, Emily and Alex! I was sad Uncle Ben was not there but he was at a wedding in France. Daddy looked very funny in a suit - it was the first time I had ever seen him looking so smart - that's what Mummy said too! He wore a tie too!

I loved running about the church and playing with my cousins and with the toys at the back of the church. Daisy looked very smart in her lovely christening gown which I wore when I was christened last year! This photo was taken in London a few days ago - Daddy took it... Happy Christmas everyone - sorry not to have updated this as often as I should but getting on Daddy's laptop is becoming harder and harder!! I can't wait to meet Father Christmas and his reindeer...

Kite flying

At the weekend, Mummy and Daddy took Daisy and I up to Butser Hill near Gran Gran's. We took my kite. It was very windy and it was great fun. Daisy loved it too although she is still a bit small so she stayed in the pram. She did stand on the trig point while I flew the kite! I was a bit grumps when I sat on the trig point but the kite soon cheered me up! We also went for a walk around Sheepwash Lane in the rain. There was no room for me so I sat on the pram! It was fun! Gran Gran came too and I walked some of the way too in my very smart yellow raincoat. I loved splashing in the puddles and got very wet!

Daisy Alice Clowes

Hello everyone! It's me Sebastian... Big news flash... I now have a little sister! Daisy Alice Clowes was born at 7am on 10th June, 2009 and she is beautiful. She weighed in at 3.67kgs and Mummy is very tired but well. They were home that same evening - Daddy came back to give me my bath and then went to pick up Mummy and Daisy to bring them home. Daddy looked more tired than Mummy!

I met Daisy the next day and Daisy gave me a present - the best present ever! A scooter and I can nearly work it... Thank-you Daisy. Here are some more photos of Daisy - she is only an hour or so old! My plan is to teach her how to update this blog so that she can add the odd entry too, from time to time...

My first haircut!

Yesterday Mummy took me to have my first haircut and I missed it because I slept through it!!! I woke up to find that all my lovely golden locks had been cut off! It is much cooler without all that hair and it dries quicker too! I even got a certificate too so I can look back when I am old and wrinkly!!!

May bank holiday

It has been hot here at home - Mummy and Daddy got the paddling pool out in the garden and I have been playing in the sandpit too. My brother or sister is coming soon - Mummy looks like a ball and I can't wait - the due date is June 3rd.

Here are some recent photos of me in case you want to see how much I have grown!!

Recent photo of me!

Hello everybody! It has been a while! I am more into running around and playing with my football these days than uploading my blog! Many of you have been asking, particularly those who live far away, for a photo, so here you are...! By the way, I'm loving the summer... hope you are too... We just had an amazing week in Cornwall where we stayed near Fowey in a medival barn conversion right at the end of a farm track amongst fields, trees and flowers and we could see the sea from the top of the field! Daddy hurt his back so could not lift me up which was sad but Mummy was well and did everything! Thank you Mummy! Thank you Uncle Ben and Gran Gran too who also came down to stay for the holidays.

Can't wait to go back... xxx

My FIRST Birthday!

Today is the 9th January and it was one year ago exactly that I was born! I cannot quite believe it! Well, tomorrow Mummy and Daddy are going to celebrate with me as it is Saturday - They had some champagne tonight while I was in bed!

The thing I am looking forward to most is my friends coming round, Alexander and Alfie and Mummy has made a cake. I have never had cake before - it was hard trying to blow out the candle but Mummy helped!! I loved the carrot cake and I think my friends, Alexander and Alfie did too! Alfie gave me a lovely animal book, Alexander gave me a cool car with a man inside that I have called Bob and Mummy and Daddy gave me a bubble blowing machine and a helium balloon which I love too. Uncle Ben gave me a book and a badge that says 'one today' and a sparkler that sparkled on the cake and Gran Gran gave me a bird clock that sings on the hour! Granny and Granpa gave me a tractor book and Auntie Clare gave me a giant lego train and John and Jean gave me a wooden puzzle and Godmother Jemima gave me a boat clock with dangly pendulum... I love all my presents... Thank you everyone... I really am a very lucky bub!!
