Valentines Day

Mummy and Daddy gave each other cards and luckily I had heard that this is what one is supposed to do on Valentine's Day so I had prepared cards for each of them too!

Daddy took the day off and we all bundled into the car and drove to the South Downs. We met uncle Ben down there who is now also my God Father! We had lunch in the Ram in Firle (a lovely little village) and it was interesting getting my buggy in the restaurant. It is quite big and hard to manoeuvre around the chairs and fat people too!

Mummy decided to go to the loo at the crucial point leaving Daddy and Uncle Ben to deal with me. They had to carry me up the stairs in my buggy which was fun! I started crying as it was quite hot in the dining room - Daddy looked relieved when Mummy returned to feed me! Here is a picture of me in my stripy hat and new top... it was a cold day.

We went for a windy and cold walk up on the Downs. Daddy and Uncle Ben were hoping to fly but it was too windy sadly. Next time...

Hi Diana,

Well long time no speak..i am so pleased to hear that you are well and happy, Sebastian is gorgeous, how old is he now?
You probably heard but I too have just had a little girl Isabella Poppy, she is 8 weeks now, and looks actually not too dissimilar to Sebastian, same skin tone, little round face and big inquisitive eyes!
she too has a wardrobe of designer clothes, I have loaned her a wardrobe to hang all her dresses!
My slide into mother hood was a slippery one, and the Italian health system is terrible with no after care or midwifes available. But i read loads of books, and I am really loving every minute of being a Mummy. Issy pop is an angel and no trouble at all, not a crier, just squeaks occasionally when she wants something and spends her day chatting to herself, much like her bonkers mother! We are so lucky..!
Paul and I are back in August for two weeks, we will spend sometime in Andrews flat in London (probably 25th onwards, he has moved from Chelsea and is now in Mayfair. So if you are around, we would love to meet up for lunch or a walk in the park. We can come to you if its easier.
You sound ecstatically happy, and its lovely reading your blog. Well done you and congratulations. Big hug Clare (sturdy) xx
